What is Glagolica

The Glagolitic script (Glagoljica) is the oldest known Slavic alphabet, created in the 9th century by Saints Cyril and Methodius to write the Old Church Slavonic language. It predates the Cyrillic alphabet by decades. The word itself comes from the Old Slavonic glagolŭ, meaning "word" or "speech."

Each letter was designed with spiritual intentionality. Unlike Latin or Greek alphabets adapted from existing scripts, Glagolitic was invented from first principles — drawing on cross, circle, and triangle as sacred geometrical foundations. Scholars have noted that nearly every letterform can be derived from these three shapes.

Today the script is encoded in the Unicode standard (U+2C00–U+2C5F) and is still used ceremonially in Croatia and among Slavic heritage communities worldwide.

Most tarot traditions are rooted in Western European symbolism — medieval Christianity, Kabbalah, or Hermetic philosophy. Glagolic offers something different: a Slavic cosmological vocabulary, where each letter carries a living concept rather than just a phonetic value.

The 12 letters in this system were chosen for their archetypal depth. Az (I, the Self), Dobro (Goodness), Zhivete (Life), Zemlja (Earth) — these aren't abstract symbols. They are fundamental forces that Slavic spiritual traditions worked with for centuries. Using them as oracle cards reconnects practitioners with a pre-Christian European spiritual tradition that has been largely forgotten.

🔮 How Readings Work

The Oracle reads the card you drew through every dimension at once — its meaning, its element, its healing frequency, its keywords, the ancient wisdom it carries — and weaves them together with the specific question you brought. Each letter is a doorway, and the Oracle walks through with you.

Every reading is generated live and is unique to you. The same letter never gives the same reading twice, because no two seekers approach it from the same place at the same moment.

In Shadow Work mode, the Oracle shifts register — toward Jungian depth — and actively refuses comfort. It surfaces unconscious patterns, projections, and the truths you have been avoiding. Enter only when ready.

Shadow Work is a Jungian psychological practice of examining the unconscious parts of the self — the patterns, projections, and avoided emotions that operate beneath awareness. Carl Jung believed that integrating the shadow (the repressed or denied aspects of the self) was essential to wholeness.

In Shadow Work mode, the Oracle does not comfort — it illuminates. It uses each Glagolitic letter as a mirror to surface what is being avoided, what is being projected onto others, and what wound or pattern is driving the seeker's current situation.

The opening prayer, reveal prayer, and closing prayer all shift register in Shadow mode — from sacred invitation to honest confrontation. The visual aesthetic also darkens from gold to crimson.

Healing Frequencies

Solfeggio frequencies are a set of specific tones associated with healing and consciousness in various spiritual and alternative wellness traditions. The original six frequencies (396, 417, 528, 639, 741, 852 Hz) appear in ancient Gregorian chants.

Note: while these associations are spiritually meaningful and widely used in sound healing practice, they are not medically validated. Glagolic uses them as a contemplative and atmospheric tool, not a medical intervention.

Binaural beats are an auditory phenomenon where two slightly different frequencies are played — one in each ear — and the brain perceives a third "beat" frequency equal to the difference between the two. For example, playing 528 Hz in the left ear and 534 Hz in the right ear produces a 6 Hz binaural beat.

To experience binaural beats, you must use headphones. The effect depends on each ear receiving a separate tone — speakers mix the audio before it reaches your ears, eliminating the effect.
